| 003. Nearing the end of the 25th Hunger Games. |
[Feb. 25th, 2012|06:20 pm] |
Sometimes the Games feel like they're over almost before they've begun, and sometimes they stretch on for eternities, as this Quarter Quell has. And they never truly end, do they? Even for those of us who lose our Tributes fairly early most years, there's still work to be done as long as the Games last. And then, of course, as soon as the Victor is crowned, it's time to begin preparations for next year.
I don't Congratulations to those who still have Tributes in the running, and better luck next year to the rest.
[Locked to Thyme]I was still holding out some hope for Lark's last remaining ally, but that's done now. I suppose the Games are truly over, at least for my part, and they can't last much longer in any case. As always, it's been a pleasure to work with you, Thyme. And as always, I hope that next year's Games will be more fortunate for District Eleven.
If you've no objections, I would like to travel back to Eleven with you once this is over, to meet Lark's and Bran's families and let them know how proud we are of their children. I'd like to I want to make sure that they're taken care of, now that [/Lock] |

[Locked to Thyme]I'm sorry about Bran. He was a good I wish I could be of more use to
I want to introduce you to someone who expressed interest in Lark to me yesterday night. He liked her spirit in the interview, and now that he's seen her speed, I think he'd be a good bet to court as a sponsor. I can bring him to speak with you as soon as you're ready to meet him.
Yours, Apollo. [/Lock]
[Locked to Cintha & Delilah]I'm sorry about your Tributes. I know it's difficult to lose one so early. [/Lock] |

| 001. First day of training |
[Jan. 7th, 2012|12:05 pm] |
[Locked to Bran Tiller, Lark Verly, and Thyme]Lark and Bran, congratulations on your successful presentation last night. You looked very nice and caught a few eyes here in the Capitol, which is what we can expect at this stage.
I spent last evening circulating at a handful of the parties Capitol citizens like to hold after the presentation. I spoke to a few ladies and gentlemen who have been Sponsors for Eleven's Tributes in the past, and I have high hopes of securing their favor again this year. One wealthy woman in particular has her eye on the both of you; if there are any particularly charming and rustic details about your lives back home you're willing to share, I can pass those along to her in hopes that the more she feels she knows you, the more invested she'll be in helping you in the Arena.
Enjoy your first day of training. I've heard it's rather fun. I won't be at supper tonight, as I have another set of parties to attend, but I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow at breakfast and hearing what you've done today. And as always, if you have any questions or need anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask me. I'd like to be of whatever use to you I can.
Yours, Apollo. [/Lock] |
